2. Video Lessons

Modern technology has helped advance the our understanding of the golf swing. We watch the techniques of top players on television everyday. Our professionals at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club can help you improve and compare your swing against the top players in the world using the latest computer software and video technology. You will be able to see your swing at 300 frames a second, identifying every aspect of your swing faults and we can apply our extensive knowledge to help you progress in your golf.

By comparing performances of previous movements, or even other golfers using the software and technology that the professionals have at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club enables you to compare video images time after time. Differences between the techniques can be identified (competition vs training, incorrect vs correct) and this information is made available immediately to the golfer.

Practice should be a rewarding experience; a video camera helps you make the most of your time. When you watch yourself perform via the computer screen, the image is there before your eyes instead of being just in your mind.

The old adage “What you think you are doing, compared to what you are actually are doing can be two totally different things” is often very true.

The golfer can also review his swing over and over, at any time by the CD that the Professionals at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club will provide you with.
