Golf Tuition Breaks
Tuition Breaks
Whether you are new to the game or you are an experienced player, Dartmouth Golf & Country Club offers a comprehensive guide to improve your game. The objective of the tuition break is to examine and develop the technical aspects of all areas within your golf game.
Our Registered Assistant PGA Professionals will cover most aspects of the game within 6 hours tuition time as part of this package and can be tailor made to each individual’s requirements.
Players have an ideal, relaxed environment to hone their skills whilst staying at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club. Practice facilities that are available include:
- An 11 bay driving range which is available for use at nearly all parts of the day
- A short game area to practice your bunker and pitching play
- A large putting green is situated directly in front of the clubhouse so that you can practice your long and short distance putting and to practice a variety of lengths of chip shots.
Dartmouth Golf & Country Club has two golf courses available to you in order to put your newly found skills into practice.
Perfect for beginners... The Dartmouth Course is a 9 hole course which is a par 33 and is a more gentle course in order to have a relaxing game at your leisure and is the perfect place to set out on the golfing road.
For the more experienced player... The 18 hole Championship Course is a par 72 which will test all aspects of your game.
EXAMPLE TUITION BREAK ITINERY
Day one
On the afternoon of your arrival you will be met by one of our resident coaches who will give you an overview of the three day course. This is followed by your first golf lesson which will include an assessment of equipment, analysis of your swing and application of ‘the fundamentals of the golf swing’.
Day Two
The first hour of this two hour session will spent on the driving range reviewing the previous days session and will continue on developing principles for the full swing.
This will be followed by an hours tuition on the putting green focusing on ‘the art of putting and chipping’ including technical information and what to look for when in and around the green.
Day Three
The first hour of the final day will focus on the further short game areas of pitching and bunker player. This will provide you with the information in order to become an expert in those ‘scoring areas’.
The final hour will be spent in putting all the aspects from course together and gives the opportunity to play a few holes whilst looking at course management and to cover any undying questions that you may have from any part of the course.
